Gift Guide: Fair Isle Favorites

Untitled #1

I just realized that at this time next week I will probably be passed out after eating one too many pieces of pie. I love Thanksgiving. It is truly one of my favorite holidays. It is so cozy and filled with love. It’s so nice to take a moment to really reflect and express thanks for everything we have. Plus, I happen to love stuffing and cranberry sauce and turkey. Family, the Macy’s parade, gratefulness, pumpkin pie– really, just a combination of all my favorite things.

Thanksgiving also means that it’s finally chilly enough to wear all my sweaters that have been taking up space in my closet since February, and I’ve been pulling out all my old favorites. There’s something so nice about a classic fair isle sweater. Not only is it a timeless style that holds up over time, but the intricate designs can also look so hip and of-the-moment.

I’ve been doing some serious online window-shopping recently in preparation for all the Black Friday sales, and I’ve seen so many pretty fair isle sweaters out there. I will probably still be in a turkey and stuffing coma so I will most definitely not be up to brave the crowds in person, but I always love to check out the sales online from the comfort of my house! Here are a few of the gorgeous sweaters I’ve got my eye on…

In addition to tons of cute sweaters, there are also lots of adorable fair isle winter weather accessories. Winter weather can make everything feel so blah, and I firmly believe it’s important to keep things fun and bright with your accessories!

Doesn’t it just seem like you should be skiing somewhere in the Alps when you wear fair isle? Or, more likely for me, sipping tea under the covers while enjoying a leftover slice of pumpkin pie?
