Last weekend I went apple picking at Milburn Orchards in Maryland. On the weekends in the fall they have an entire fall festival running, with pumpkins and corn mazes and a petting zoo and ALL THE FALL TREATS. I'm talking apple cider donuts, apple cider funnel cake, apple cider slushies.... the list just goes on and on. It was such a beautiful day to be outside. It finally felt a bit cooler and . . .
TGIF! It's Friday- time to celebrate making it through another week! I wore this look to work last week and then out to dinner at City Center afterwards. We went to Fig and Olive, and remembered how much I like that place. On weeknights it's a super happening place, since so many offices are nearby and people wander over straight from work. There was even a DJ in the bar area! Definitely . . .
I love exploring DC and discovering fun new spots. And let me tell you, Union Market is one of DC's hidden gems. It's a re-purposed warehouse turned into a foodie's paradise. There's so much delicious food to try and some truly charming shops to explore inside, and then outside there are plenty of picnic tables, music, and, of course, those famous murals you always see on Instagram (including the . . .
Today I'm talking about our day in Ibiza, Spain! Now, when you hear Ibiza, you typically think crazy nightlife and wild clubbing. While that's there if you want it, there is so much more to Ibiza, including beautiful beaches and an adorable old town that reminded me of Mykonos! Get ready for a picture overload with this post, because the beach of Cala Comte and the streets of the old town were . . .
Hey there, Friday! What took you so long? Here are five things that are on my mind this week... Bitch Sesh: I am so lucky that one of my friends told me about this podcast that focuses on all my favorite Bravo shoes! The two ladies who host it are truly brilliant and hilarious-- seriously, they are alums of Upright Citizens Brigade and Casey was on SNL. They cover these shows with just the . . .
On the fifth day of our cruise we went to Nîmes and then saw the Pont du Gard. I loved our time in France on this trip. I hadn't been to France in years and I was soaking up every moment. Looking back at these photos reminds me how lovely and quaint the city of Nîmes is. It was a bit more off-the-beaten-path than some of our other stops and much less touristy than Nice and Cinque Terre, and as a . . .
Because this blog is new, I figured it might be nice to tell you a little bit about myself, so I wrote up 15 things that you (probably) don't know about me. Here's a little bit about the girl behind the blog... Summer is my favorite time of year. I love everything about it-- the warm weather, the BBQs, the pool, the beach, the cute sundresses, and the laid-back attitude. Even though I've . . .
It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.... it was 1L Fall. Now, let's be real, there aren't that many "best of times" during the first semester of law school. 1L is typically the hardest and most challenging time of law school. When I think about 1L fall, I think of it as a crazy busy time when I had no idea what I was doing. I think about how I was busy every moment of every day. I . . .
We spent the Fourth Day of our Mediterranean Cruise with Celebrity Cruises in St. Tropez. Let's just say I can see why Brigitte Bardot decided to make this gorgeous town her home. The streets are so colorful and charming, and the town is filled with winding roads leading to squares with blossoming flowers and quaint cafes. St. Tropez is everything you dream the South of France will . . .
Hey there, Friday! I ended this week with a pretty bad cold, so I am especially thankful for a weekend where I can just sleep and rest. Here's what's been on my mind this week.... This week I listened to the Missing Richard Simmons podcast. It was so. good. It was weird, and fascinating, and sad, and overall just a really well-done character study. We all know Richard Simmons as the loud, . . .
