A Night in Annapolis

Annapolis is one of my favorite places. It’s a super easy day trip from DC (just about an hour), but it feels like a world away. It has the most adorable little downtown right along the harbor, the best crab cakes, and lots of cute little stores to explore.

If you go down to the harbor and walk around you’ll find lots of little boat tours that you can go on. My favorite is the Harbor Queen, which takes you on a 40-minute ride around Annapolis. It’s such a great way to see the city and admire all the beautiful waterfront homes!

I’m going to make a Guide to Annapolis soon, listing all my favorite spots in more detail, but my go-to spot is Boatyard Bar and Grill. As a self-proclaimed crab cake expert, I cannot recommend their crab cakes more highly! Also I have to make a plug for Storm Brothers Ice Cream, too. Grabbing an ice cream cone and wandering around the harbor is the perfect way to spend a summer evening!
